Specialty Fish Plant

In 2008, Eastern transitioned one of its three U.S. facilities into a dedicated specialty fish plant. Monkfish, dogfish, and skate are processed, packed, and shipped daily, fresh and frozen, to the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Processing and packing are completed by hand to customer specifications. Products are individually wrapped and blast frozen in either 5- or 10-kilo blocks. Onsite storage capacity exceeds 1 million pounds.
